This offers no solutions is a surreal piece that uses stand-up comedy, live sound, voice modulation and dance to follow the story of an introverted IT worker whose sense of self is shattered when he encounters a glitch that he cannot rectify.

A surreal and sharp-edged two-hander blending live music, stand-up, clowning, and existential dread. Set in a purgatory-like comedy club, the show follows a deeply insecure comic and a clueless, drum-playing clown as they unravel the fragile mechanics of laughter - one ill-timed cymbal crash at a time.

The Kyds
Marshall Stay
Marshall is a multi-disciplinary artist, with skills across acting, dance/physical theatre, directing, sound design, photography, and film. He studied a BPA at the Western Australia Academy of Performing Arts, as well as a 2-year MA in Contemporary Physical Performance Making in Estonia, before moving to London where he contributes to others' projects as well as creating his own.

He consistently performs with Theatre Re, and has worked with Gecko, and MCDC Dance Co.​
He's excited to be making his West End debut in February 2026 alongside Cynthia Erivo in Kip Williams' Dracula.​​

Recent credits include Bluebelle (Theatre Re), The Darndest Things (Resolution Festival, The Place), Sin Eater (Cockpit Theatre), CoffeeBreak (Milan), F*ckboys (Brighton Fringe), and once again we are alone (Estonia).

TOm CLaxton
Tom is an actor and creative from Stockport, Manchester. He trained at LAMDA as a recipient of the Leverhulme Trust Scholarship.
Theatre includes: Fell (Arcola), Romeo & Juliet (Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre), Kick, Heart of Hammersmith (Lyric Hammersmith), The Local (Southwark Playhouse), A Manchester Anthem (Pleasance; VAULT), Consent, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, Our Town, Hamlet (LAMDA).
Film & TV includes: I’m Your Host (DW Medoff), The Boys in the Boat (George Clooney), Domino Day (Eva Sigurdardottir), One Day (Kate Hewitt), SAS: Rogue Heroes (Tom Shankland), Doctors (John Maidens), Still So Awkward (Jason Wingard).
jahVel Hall
Jahvel Hall is a writer and performer from London, UK. He studied Drama with English Literature at Royal Holloway, UoL.
He's had leading roles on stage at the Royal National Theatre, Bush Theatre, Royal Exchange, Oldham Coliseum, York Theatre Royal and Traverse Theatre among many others. He's worked on projects at the Barbican Pit Lab, National Theatre Studio and Hammersmith Lyric.
He's had several appearances on screen most notably Doctor Who (BBC). As a writer for stage and screen he's had work performed across the country and penned award winning short film "Misgivings" (Sigma Films) which toured over 20 international film festivals. He's currently writer for the multi BAFTA winning EastEnders on BBC.
Eliza Jean Scott
Eliza Jean Scott is an award-nominated interdisciplinary theatre-maker, writer, performer, choreographer, and sound artist. Eliza's practice moves fluidly between creating and performing their own work, collaborating with established theatre and dance companies, and appearing as a professional actor in both theatre and film.
Eliza spent 2024 completing their Master’s at RADA in the Theatre Lab program.
Their recent projects include: ‘I’ve Heard This One Before’ at Chisenhale Dance Space (2025, creator/performer), PromethesNOW at Courtyard Theatre (2025, performer/deviser), ‘Orlando’ (2025, Belvoir Theatre, AUS, R&D), ‘The Darndest Things’ at Resolution Festival at The Place (2025, deviser/dancer, UK), ‘RATKING’ at RADA (2024, deviser/dancer), ‘The Deal’ (2024, Gecko Theatre Company R&D, deviser/dancer), 'The Tenant of Wildfell Hall’ (Sydney Theatre Company, 2022, performer/composer).
Eliza’s artistic approach is deeply rooted in the exploration of cross-artform practice, focusing on how movement and sound can be intertwined in live performance. Eliza is also the recipient of the 2023/2024 Marten Bequest Scholarship and received the Ian Potter Creative Fellowship in 2023.

IzZy Edwards
Izzy is a director, dramaturg, and producer, currently working in creative development at Sonia Friedman Productions. As a freelance artist, she has developed work in both the US and UK with artists including Lauren Gunderson, Punchdrunk, and Mark Ravenhill. Select past work: A Manchester Anthem (Prod. Director, Hope Mill Theatre/Riverside Studios), anthropology (Dramaturg, Hampstead Theatre), The Time Traveller’s Wife (Asst Director, Storyhouse Chester), La Boheme (Associate Director, Kings Head Theatre).

KILL YOUR DARLINGS was born from a need for creative community with shared values of rigour, creativity, and proactivity. We believe that to make the best work, you need to surround yourself with people that will encourage, challenge, and support you. Although we pursue our own creative interests within the company, we commit to bolstering each other's projects with our various skills as performers, movers, directors, dramaturgs, sound designers, and photographers. Anything we cannot do, we outsource to our wide and brilliant creative networks.
Our goal is to have a wide and varied portfolio of creative work, spanning across different forms, experiences, and creative disciplines. We aim to cultivate an audience in London and beyond, who know us for our innovation, quality, and consistent output of work.
Our namesake inspires a philosophy in our creative process: to have the courage, the rigour, and the knowledge to make bold swings and large cuts, knowing that these cuts are a painful but necessary indicator that you are on the right path.
